3 Ways To Use Herb Oil in Your Cooking
Adding flavor to oil for dressings and marinades takes basic olive, sunflower or sesame oil to a new level.
There are many ways you can infuse your oils with flavor by adding fresh herbs to them, but Terre Botanicals makes it even easier and faster than that. With a line of organic herb and culinary oils like tarragon, ginger, fennel and cinnamon, just a drop in your EVOO or recipe can up flavor dramatically.
Aside from the taste experience you will receive powerful health benefits that come along with the herb extract.

What is it about rainy dreary weather that always makes me crave Asian flavors? This creation totally hit the spot 👊🏼Just sautéed a defrosted package of cauliflower rice in 2 tbsp of @nutiva coconut oil with 2 tbsp coconut aminos, 1 tsp sesame oil, 3 drops @terrebotanicals ginger culinary essential oil (available on @treatmo ), sesame seeds, salt to taste, peas, and--my special ingredient from @unsqgreenmarket --red wasabi microgreens (aka water pepper) which, yes, totally pack a little heat 🔥. Topped with pastured eggs fried in @omgheebutter and drizzled with @josephinesfeast hot & sweet sriricha sauce. Check out my ig stories for my @unsqgreenmarket finds 👆🏼including duck prosciutto which TOTALLY made the soggy trek worth it.

These PALEO CHICKEN FINGERS w/ TARRAGON DIPPING SAUCE are made using my current favorite breading method--crushed up @simplemills almond flour sea salt and rosemary crackers (you can find them at @wholefoods ). I kid you not and, no, this is not an ad, I just knew I had to try these crackers out as breading the moment I had them because of the yummy rosemary flavor and light, crispy texture. # # # For the fingers: For 1 lb of chicken fingers, mix a heaping cup of crushed crackers with 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp cayenne, and 1.5 tsp salt. **. Whisk one egg in a bowl and then dip each finger in the egg and dredge it in the crumb mixture. ** Bake the chicken fingers on an EVOO sprinkled baking sheet at 475 degrees for ~15 min on each side. # # # For the tarragon dipping sauce: Just mix 1 cup of @primalkitchenfoods avocado oil mayo with juice from a small lemon, 1 tsp of capers, and 3-4 drops of @terrebotanicals tarragon essential oil (available on @treatmo ).
Shop almond flour on Treatmo app from Fat Uncle Farms raw, organic almond farm in California. Family owned and run, also available at local Los Angeles and Santa Barbara farmers markets -- check the app for locations. Fresh herbs and spices from local farms also available in the market in a tap.
This MANGO GINGER COLLAGEN SMOOTHIE is the perfect morning pick-me-up, even (especially) on this dreary NYC day 🌧 Just blend 1 cup @califiafarms unsweetened almond milk, half a banana, 1 cup frozen mango, a drop of @terrebotanicals ginger edible culinary essential oil from @treatmo (YES, you read that right, more about it below 👇🏼), a scoop of @vitalproteins collagen, a pinch of cinnamon, a pinch of sea salt, and 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract. # # # Was so excited when I got the chance from the @treatmo marketplace to try out some of the @terrebotanicals edible oil line (check out my IG story to see which ones I'm trying out 👆🏼; also comes in flavors including lime, basil, fennel, turmeric, and bay laurel). One of the biggest, but necessary, annoyances you have to deal with if you want to cook tasty food is having the right herbs and spices on hand. I hate having to buy a huge chunk of ginger only to use an inch long piece of it and have the rest of it rot before I need to use it again. Also hate having my cupboards cluttered with a ton of giant bottles of spices I only use here and there in pinches. These oils are turning out to be a great solution to both problems since they last a long time if stored properly, come in small amounts since a little goes a very long way, and they mix in easily (no need to mince or or chop here). My new fave cooking hack 🙌🏼
